Holiday Gift Guide

The Holidays are quickly approaching! I love Christmas! We try to keep from making things too materialistic. We try to give 'useful' gifts & homemade gifts. But we also give some gifts just for fun! During the next few weeks I am going to be posting a few of my favorite Shelf Reliance Items to give as gifts! I will also highlight homemade gifts I find throughout the web!

Have you considered buying your gifts from small at home businesses? Lynsey, The Party Plan Coach, said it best! "When you buy from a small home business, you are not helping a CEO buy a 3rd vacation home. You are helping a Mom put food on the table, pay a mortgage, a little girl getting dance lessons , a little boy’s jersey for his football/soccer team or helping a student pay for college. Our customers are our shareholders – and they are the ones we strive to make happy. Thank you for supporting small home businesses!" "Keep in mind this holiday season… You, the customer, are our everything. Spending $100 at Walmart or another retail or department store during the holidays won’t make a difference to anyone; but spending $100 through a home business owner for Christmas means our business can continue; it gives us our pay, provides for our families, Helps us meet our personal goals, and helps us continue to do what we love without using harsh sales techniques. The big stores will not care about you the way we will because unfortunately, you don’t mean that much to them. You mean the world to us – shop a home/direct sales business for Christmas this year!" She has put together her yearly Diva Holiday Gift Guide! I encourage you to go check it out! There are some amazing giveaways! And you just might see Tawny's Thriving Home featured! ;)

  1. hi there I just found your blog, came over from generation cedar... I don't know if someone has ever told you but the font you use is really hard to read. It's too small and skinny...it all runs together after a while. i couldnt keep reading your blog and i wanted too. just my 2 cents. :)
